| Jr. Varsity Regional Tournament |
Proposal: After talking with a few coaches last season we developed
an idea for the 2009 season. The idea is to create a Jr. Varsity
season that has some meaning. What we would like to do is have
4 private schools and 4 public schools agree to the following:
•
Each school would agree to play each other school in a home / home
format.
•
This guarantees each school 14 matches.
•
The hosting school pays the officials, collects and keeps the gate.
•
All results are emailed to all the participating coaches, and a
running total will be kept on the Lady Dragon’s website:
www.ladydragonsoccer.com
•
Based on a set of criteria (agreed on before the season) each team
will be seeded for a tournament to be held the final week of the
regular season.
•
#1 will host #8, #2 will host #7, #3 will host #6, #4 will host
#5.
•
Then highest seed remaining of 1 v 8 and 4 v 5 will host, as will
2 v 7 and 3 v 6.
•
The highest seed will continue to host.
•
A trophy will be presented to the final winner. |
